No Place For That On The News!
It was one of the year’s brightest moments for local TV news – maybe one of the best moments ever for a childish industry filled with posers. And it was retracted.
*
Bob Sirott’s on-air counter-argument: “But a little kid will think ‘Santa will get what I want.'”
Exactly!
*
Robin Robinson: “As soon as they can talk, there is no Santa.”
Why wait that long? There is no Santa. Stop lying to children.
*
Robinson said in her apology that she shouldn’t have made her comments considering that children may have been watching. (Children watch Fox News Chicago?)
As Gawker put it: “Yeah, Robin Robinson. Why don’t you just stick to reporting on brutal rapes, murders and car crashes like you do every other night and stop destroying children’s innocence by telling them Santa isn’t real?”

Finally, North Koreans respond.
