Costly Co-Living
“The 92-year-old Clark Adams Building, also known as the Bankers Building, on the Chicago Loop is set to become the largest co-living complex in the city,” The Architect’s Newspaper reports.
Rooms – not units, TAN points out – will start at $1,400 a month.
Reynolds Rap
“Reynolds Consumer Products, the maker of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil and Hefty trash bags, intends to seek a valuation of $7 billion in its U.S. initial public offering, according to people with knowledge of the matter,” Bloomberg reports.
It’s always fascinating to me how many fortunes are built on mundanities – which isn’t to diss the miracle that is aluminum foil.
But here’s the really interesting part: Reynolds Wrap is based in Lake Forest.

“The Museum of Broadcast Communications is celebrating [Rich] Koz’s 40 years playing Svengoolie with a new exhibition that will feature the Son of Svengoolie coffin and other items from the original set,” the Reader notes.
“The exhibition kicks off with a gala at the museum on Saturday, October 26, at 7 PM. Tickets are $50 and include a meet-and-greet with Koz; proceeds benefit the museum.”

The service connects Amazon employees and their family members to doctors or nurse practitioners through live chat or video, with an option of in-person follow ups from registered nurses.”
