Join the Skokie Valley Kennel Club in celebrating its 80th year. Bring your dog lovers to the Rosemont Christmas Shows!
You will get the chance to take a dog show tour, Meet the Breeds, see Rally and Obedience competitions and more this Saturday and Sunday at The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The two-day all-breed dog shows will have lots of fun-filled activities for adults and their children.
SPECTATORS CAN:
* Meet and greet a variety of different dog breeds. Visitors can meet and speak with breeders, owners and handlers about their favorite breed.
* Watch dogs strut their stuff in the ring during conformation and learn about the sport.
* Obedience and Rally trials will test dogs’ understanding of commands, as they
maneuver over hurdles, around obstacles & retrieve articles.
* Participate in free dog show tours.
* Enjoy NOHS competitions and cheer on your favorite owner and dog duo.
* Watch kids and their dogs show off during Junior Showmanship competitions.
* Watch Four-to-Six Month Beginner Puppy competitions (SUN ONLY).
* Shop from different vendors participating in the three-day festivity.
