THE CITY
I am just a boy from a
quiet town
The brights lights of The City got me
hangin’ round
The North Side, the West Side, the
South Side
too there’s always
someone to meet and always something to
dooo yeah
I want to build a City now
upon this land
And all I ask of you is that you
take my hand The city that
awaits awaits
upon this ground
Door by door and street by street and
town by town
the difference faces, the different places
the people walkin’ round
I WONDER
WHAT THEY’RE
THINKING
Some day I think I can build a City
of my own
Hope I won’t be building
all alone
Brother: I know the game is
hard to play
When every good deed is met with
no real pay
And Sister: I know sometimes it’s
hard to try
When every hello becomes
just another goodbye
just another goodbye
just another goodbye . . . (retard)
HEY;
HELLO
